Working with Worn's strategist team, we took Bodewell from a clinical-looking psoriasis and eczema treatment and transformed it into an approachable, trustworthy direct-to-consumer brand that offers homeopathic ingredients with the efficacy of a prescription treatment.
In researching the world of reactive skin, we learned just how demoralizing the journey to flare-free skin can be. Many come to this treatment after years of failed attempts with countless other products, and little hope for relief. For them, we wanted to infuse a sense of possibility into the brand, and chose the name Bodewell — to bode well means a sign that something good is about to happen.
Translating this sentiment into a logo, I took the outline of “bode” and transitioned it to the filled letters of “well.” This dynamic is meant to illustrate the relief and healing that Bodewell brings. I layered our palette to mimic the application of Bodewell’s ointments on skin. The product is designed to improve skin barrier function, so I wanted to show how the treatment seals in hydration for skin strengthening & healing.

I crafted a mobile-first website, designed to re-introduce Bodewell to the world. Along with the Bodewell team and Worn's strategists, I created a quiz to personalize products and create treatment routines specific to each individual’s needs. To bring the brand story to life, I art directed the product and beauty photography featured throughout the site.
